I am a Pokémon fanatic. The first game I ever played was FireRed on a Game Boy Color, and most of my childhood was spent in the world of Pokémon. My favorite is Squirtle!

When I moved into my first apartment there was a circuit breaker on the wall that honestly ruined the vibe of my apartment. I had just joined a makerspace and just finished the CNC training, so I had a problem and a machine and no excuse.

Rotom is a Pokémon that possesses household appliances — it climbs into your fridge, your fan, your lawnmower. Putting one on the breaker panel was perfect for my apartment's aesthetic.

I cut the main body from MDF on the CNC using VCarve, and 3D-printed the eyes, the mouth and the arms. It mounts on neodymium magnets with a sock as a buffer to easily take it off so management doesn't get mad at me ;) !
